Verizon and Samsung on Tuesday announced the immediate availability of a new 4G LTE Network Extender that will augment indoor wireless coverage for enterprise customers.
Designed for mid-sized buildings of 10,000 to 100,000 square feet, the solution can support more than 40 concurrent users across 31,500 square feet.
“The introduction of the 4G LTE Network Extender for Enterprise provides our business and government clients with a 4G voice and data solution that seamlessly extends the corporate network to deliver mission- critical apps and corporate emails in a high performance environment,” said Verizon’s senior vice president of Wireless Enterprise T.J. Fox.
Fox also said the solution is ideal for enterprise customers that have significant volumes of devices and employees or guests that require a fast connection.
The network extender provides access to both voice and data services over LTE, the companies said.
