Vertellus, a global supplier of high-performance solutions to the medical industry, is showcasing its range of Biothane adhesives and sealants and PC Technology surface technology at MD&M East, a medical device expo in New York City this week.
Vertellus is located at Booth 1035 at the Javits Center, December 7th to 9th.
Vertellus’ portfolio of Biothane systems include its components – Polycin polyols and Vorite prepolymers. When combined, the components become high-performance adhesive and sealant systems and can be designed and paired for applications with critical performance specifications — such as hardness, rheology, and gel time.
These optimizable systems are in use worldwide to improve adhesive utilization and streamline production for a variety of medical devices including catheters, dialyzers, oxygenators, and specialty hollow fiber membrane bioreactors.
“With its history rooted in specialty chemicals, and a deep understanding of global regulatory and compliance issues, Vertellus is uniquely positioned to develop specialty solutions for medical device manufacturers,” said Neelam Kumar, strategic segment manager – Medical at Vertellus. “At MD&M Expo, we welcome opportunities to educate visitors about our off-the-shelf products and partner with industry participants to build unique, custom solutions that meet their precise needs.”
Headquartered in Indianapolis, the Vertellus group of companies was originally founded in 1857 as a manufacturer of niche specialty products. Today, Vertellus is one of the largest providers of unique specialty chemicals used in diverse applications, processes, and market sectors, including healthcare, food and agriculture, performance coatings, and industrial specialties
