You can explore Mars in virtual reality with Mars 2030, a 3-D game made in concert with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Johnson Space Center and Langley Research Center. It launched on July 31 for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Steam PC, and is available for free to schools and museums. As the trailer released last year shows, the video brings a scientifically-backed look at what human exploration of Mars might look like. It is also expected to be available on PlayStation VR and on conventional screens on Pc and PlayStation 4. More information can be found on GeekWire.
