Nickel (Ni) and KTY devices have joined WAGO Corporation’s 857 Series JUMPFLEX® signal conditioner and relay lineup. The 857-820 KTY and 857-818 Ni signal conditioners record signals from KTY and Ni temperature sensors, converting them to standard analog signals. A true 6mm — 857-820 is the market’s slimmest KTY device — the DIN-rail KTY and Ni devices slot into space-restricted panels for temperature-sensing within automotive and industrial applications.
Offering 2–4-wire sensor connections (switchable) JUMPFLEX® KTY and Ni signal transmission error is just <0.1% (upper-range value). This precision eliminates recalibration — even after switching ranges. KTY and Ni devices feature -25°C to +70°C operating range and are configurable via DIP switch for freely setting start and end temperature set points. Safety and reliability are provided via 3-way galvanic isolation (2.5kV). The 857-818 accommodates sensor input ranges of Ni 100, 120, 200, 500 and Ni 1000, and an extended supply voltage of 16.8V–31.2V.
