The LUMI-NUTS‚’ housing consists of flame retardant (UL94V-0) polyamide 6.6, and is completely touch-safe – whether mated or unmated. Joined by a robust, integral locking latch, both LUMI-NUTS‚’ mating halves are keyed to prevent mis-mating. Color-coding and on-unit inkjet markings provide easy pole identification to simplify wiring. LUMI-NUTS‚â„¢ also provides the simplicity of PUSH WIRE‚® terminations; simply push in the prepared conductor for terminations that are maintenance-free, as well as vibration- and temperature-cycling resistant.
