GERMANTOWN, WI — WAGO Corporation has extended the pole configurations for the insulated comb-style jumper bars used with the 231 Series MULTI CONNECTION SYSTEM (MCS) MIDI (pin spacing 5mm/5.08mm). In addition to a 2-pole configuration, 3-, 5-, 7- and 10-pole versions have joined the MCS MIDI lineup to provide additional flexibility.
WAGO’s MCS MIDI Jumpers are currently the only Spring Pressure-compatible series available.
The RoHS-compliant MCS MIDI Jumpers also feature: an insulated, touch-safe design for safety, on-unit molded markings for easy identification and quick installation, removable jumper pins for custom configurations and suitability for both a 5 mm and 5.08 mm pitch. Additionally, all versions within the wide range of MCS MIDI Jumpers are readily available from stock.
About the MCS MIDI Connection System:
The 231 Series MCS MIDI terminates solid and stranded conductors up to 16 AWG with ratings of 15 A/300 V. MCS MIDI relies on CAGE CLAMP® Spring Pressure Connection Technology to provide terminations that are easy, gas-tight, vibration-proof, maintenance-free and temperature-cycling resistant. To further ensure durability, the MCS MIDI is constructed of robust, high-quality materials such as: UL 94V-0 rated polyamide 6.6, chrome nickel spring steel clamping units and a tin-plated, copper alloy for current carrying contacts. Terminations are 100% protected from mis-mating via built-in keying or coding accessory and integrated test points for troubleshooting. MCS MIDI offers several wiring options including: horizontal, vertical and lever actuation, as well as PUSH WIRE® actuation for CAGE CLAMP®S-equipped models.
