METCASE is offering a kit that enables its sloping front UNIDESK aluminum enclosures to be wall mounted.
This enhances the versatility of UNIDESK in a wide range of applications including industrial control, office systems, point-of-sale terminals, medical devices, security and access control.
The kit – available as an accessory – offers a choice of wall mounting options using either the base or rear of the enclosure. It comprises two extruded aluminum profiles that fit into the underside of the base or rear. Oval wall fixing holes allow for easier adjustment when mounting the cases.
Three sizes are available to fit UNIDESK M200 (7.87” x 7.87” x 4.02”), M300 (11.81” x 7.87” x 4.02”) and M400 (15.75” x 7.87” x 4.02”) enclosures.
Robust UNIDESK was originally launched as a range of sloping front desktop instrument enclosures. It can be specified with or without self adhesive IP 54 sealing gaskets.
UNIDESK features a flat rear panel for connectors, switches and power inlets. The front panel (accessory) is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad. The base has pre-punched PCB fixing points.
Stainless steel M3 Torx T10 and MS M3 Pozidriv fixings are supplied, along with four non-slip rubber feet.
Two standard colour options are offered: light gray (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). All the enclosures are supplied pre-assembled. Prices start at $112.
Other accessories include front panels and a PCB mounting kit.
Customizing options include custom widths and front panels; CNC punching, folding, milling, drilling and tapping; fixings and inserts; painting and finishing and digital printing of legends and logos.
