Now thanks to Google, you can take a quick peek inside of the White House via virtual reality.
The 360 VR tour of now President Barack Obama’s humble abode shows off the house decked out in Holiday cheer, trees, wreaths, and garland galore. The narration mentions that 89 wonderful volunteers helped deck the halls, and explains the history of the White House. Such as one of the first pictures, “Each of the 56 states and terriroties that make up the United States, is represented with a snow flake dangling in the East Colonnade.”
Most of the tour uses static images, occassionally a full motion video, and even feature Bo, President Obama’s pup.
Each special room was decorated by fashion designers, all hand-picked by First Lady Michelle Obama, are the team from Opening Ceremony, Carolina Herrera, Kenzo, and Duro Olowu.
This tour was created using a 16-camera circular array from Google’s Jump program. Check it out below!
