RICHMOND, VA ‚– Weidmuller is pleased to announce a completely new tag and marker printer for the industrial market‚–the Print Jet PRO. This new ink-jet printer prints plastic markers in standard MultiCard format ‚– simply, efficiently and in an environmentally safe manner. The quality of print from the new Print Jet PRO is the highest available (600 dpi), and durable enough for continuous use. The Print Jet PRO is ideal for printing tags and markers for direct mount onto devices, cables, relays, and terminal blocks.

The new Print Jet PRO prints both in black and, as an industry first, in color. In each instance, printing is produced using water-based environmentally friendly ink so empty ink cartridges no longer need to be disposed of as special waste. Precise identification markings not only make servicing and subsequent maintenance work easier, they also facilitate rapid troubleshooting. The text and overall print quality is sharp and resistant to oil, water, cleaning agents and UV radiation. PrintJet PRO prints on blank plastic markers in standard MultiCard format. Weidmuller‚’s MultiCard assortment features more than 150 format and color variations.

The PrintJet PRO comes with an integrated MultiCard print loader and the user-friendly M-Print‚® PRO software M-Print‚® PRO. Both software and printer are engineered to operate intuitively and can link directly to CAE/CAD systems. This avoids errors, simplifies processes and reduces costs.

The Weidmuller PrintJet PRO has been designed to withstand the demands of continuous industrial use. Its sophisticated cooling system and integrated loader, offer an uninterrupted printing solution. The controls panel is flush-mounted on the top of the printer and can be rotated 180‚° for ease-of-use.

The PrintJet PRO ink-jet printer is part of an overall, well-developed Weidmuller marking system, comprised of printing, marking/tag types, software, and worldwide service and support.
