Input for the 21st Annual MEMS Industry Commercialization Report Card Study (for 2019) is currently being requested. Compiled by Roger Grace, President of Roger Grace Associates, the purpose of the Report Card is to provide microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) industry participants with an objective assessment of the critical success factors over time for MEMS and to act as a tool to help them better understand, respond to and exploit the ever-changing dynamics and evolution of the MEMS industry. It provides considerable value in assessing the successes and failures of the commercialization efforts of the MEMS industry as well as recommendations for future actions.
The report uses a Delphi Method approach where inputs are requested from a structured and limited number of highly informed and experienced experts. Previous report cards were generated based on the input from a limited number of industry insiders who were invited to participate whenever a new report card was being developed. For the 2019 MEMS Report Card, the invitation to participate is being extended to obtain fresh input from people that can be added to that from the traditional participants.
Interested individuals are asked to assess the 14 subjects or critical success factors by providing letter grades and optional comments and/or reasons for their grades. The deadline for submission is September 9, 2020. To encourage participation, a $100 gift card will be provided to the winner in a random drawing of the contributors. But there are no losers. All respondents will receive a copy of the final report
