Women of the Fastener Industry (WIFI), which provide opportunities for women at all levels of experience in the fastener industry to connect, network, and learn, is honoring the memory of Ann Bisgyer Wolz with a special scholarship. The deadline for entry is May 14, 2020.
This May, Bisgyer Wolz would have turned 65. She first worked in the fastener industry during high school for her stepfather, Eric Cohn, at Allied International. She later entered the trade show industry in New York City and returned to fasteners when she and spouse John Wolz acquired Fastener Industry News in 1994, where they shared co-publisher titles.
“We honor Ann and her pioneering work in the fastener industry by providing a scholarship in her name,” stated WIFI.
Scholarship application submission offered to WIFI Members requesting Financial assistance to attend the Fastener Training Institute. Class fees will be covered for the Certified Fastener Specialist course or any other class of equal or lesser value.
