Radio Frequency (RF) units connect directly to sensor or control signals. They form peer-to-peer networks with event-reporting messaging, self-checking messaging, and secure data encryption. An industrial strength transmitter unit (full 1 W) lets users quickly and easily connect thousands of I/O contacts throughout a facility or across a wide radius.
Each protocol converter, or gateway, has eight on-board discrete I/O connections that can be individually configured as an input or output.
Factory-hardened wireless modems transmit serial or Ethernet data and can send or receive multiple combinations of input or output signals for simultaneous application control.
