MicroStrain’s ENV-Link –Mini shrinks its wireless node technology to a 150-mm wide x 53-mm high x 100-mm deep IP67 weatherproof enclosure. The wireless nodes support a wide range of applications in environmental monitoring and precision farming. Available environmental sensors include solar radiation, soil moisture and leaf wetness, and users have the option to add their own sensor.
The monitoring node utilizes MicroStrain’s LXRS™ wireless protocol for 100% data reliability under normal operating conditions and the wireless communication range extends up to 2km line-of-sight. Nodes can be deployed for up to 5 years without replacing batteries.
