easyAnalyzer 4.0 – A Smart Reporting Tool for DATA MODUL PCAP easyTOUCH Users

By Design World Editor | July 30, 2019

Share

DATA MODUL has developed an update to the exclusive easyAnalyzer, an easy-to-use PCAP touch
tuning and reporting tool for end-users and system integrators. It is available for Windows and Linux
Operating Systems.

Created to support DATA MODUL’s proprietary USB-based PCAP touch controllers (also known as “easyTOUCH”), this user-friendly application contains a settings tool allowing the user to adjust parameters as well as detect malfunctions, to minimize time spent not just during the initial setup but also successfully and seamlessly integrating PCAP systems into customer specific applications.

The live view of the raw touch sensor data simplifies the integration of DATA MODUL’s “off-the-shelf” easyTOUCH Displays as well as custom tailored touch solutions. Environmental disruptions like power
supply noise and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) caused by surrounding components, which are
typically very hard to identify, appear in the live 3D graph making it a breeze to locate them. The user
can further check sensor health, detect hardware malfunctions and touch validity with just a few clicks
of a mouse.

An integrated data recorder collects information of each sensor node for further analysis. This data can
be sent electronically to DATA MODUL for remote support and assistance resulting in both time and cost
savings.

The 4.0 version update includes a new graphical 3D interface providing additional information of the
PCAP sensor and now supports even more devices.
