GalilTools is a software package for easy set-up, tuning, and analysis of the company’s Ethernet/RS232 (DMC-40×0, DMC-21×3, and RIO-47100 models) and PCI (DMC-18×6 and DMC-18×2 models) motion controllers. The package includes Scope, Tuner, Watch, Terminal and Editor tools, all which can be displayed separately or together on a screen. The package replaces Galil’s WSDK software for controllers.
Scope Tool captures hundreds and various types of data items automatically or on a rising or falling edge trigger. This includes I/O states, actual position, commanded position, error, torque, analog inputs, and more. Additionally, up to eight channels of data can be displayed simultaneously, and you are able to switch channels to view additional data captured during the same time period.
The communication drivers for PCI and Ethernet are set for quick and efficient controller communications. GalilTools automatically displays all available connections to Ethernet, serial and PCI controllers. It runs on Windows(r) XP, Windows Vista(tm), and Linux(tm) as standard. Other platforms may be accommodated upon request.
