Balluff’s recently announced Global BMF magnetic field cylinder sensors have both replacement and new design applications. Based on non-contact, solid-state sensor technology that is compatible with both reed and Hall Effect magnetic pole orientations, the sensors can replace standard magnetic switches. For new designs, their integrated short circuit, overload, and reverse-polarity protection provide design advantages. Offered as general-purpose sensors and accessories for industrial automation, the sensors target applications that require both economical pricing and improved reliability, which is backed by a lifetime warranty. The sensors fit either C-slot or T-slot extrusions and require no additional brackets for mounting.
