This May, Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. will be celebrating some anniversaries. Twenty years ago, CEO, Ron Bullock, purchased Bison Gear, and in that time, he has executed its mission to expand the company’s size and scope to become a world-class gearmotor, electric motor, and gear reducer manufacturer. Since 1987, Bison has tripled employment and increased sales sevenfold.
Bison is also celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters in St. Charles, IL. The facility houses R&D and Bison’s Electric DC motor operations. In 2006, Bison added AC motor production to the facility’s line-up. The facility can accommodate almost double its present manufacturing space, which is imminent given current growth rates.
Bison will host a “Celebrate the Past and Look Toward the Future” open house on Friday, May 25, 2007, from 1 to 5 p. m. at the Bison facility. Bison wishes to express appreciation to the loyal and enthusiastic team of associates, customers, and suppliers who have contributed to its success.
