This presentation will look at the consolidation of Quality Managed and ASIL B software on complex asymmetric multicore silicon devices, utilizing a type-1 hypervisor for separation. Examples of this include the current trend in consolidating cockpit electronic displays including instrument cluster, infotainment, and head-up display. Such a software platform allows for the optimization of development and production costs where ISO26262 is not mandated for the entire system.

His experience includes powertrain control systems at Ford Motor Company, and vehicle stability control systems at TRW Automotive, and a wide variety of automotive Infotainment, Telematics, Instrument Cluster and ADAS applications.
