So what’s different about IFPE 2014? According to AEM, the show’s owner, the exposition will feature three new navigation programs to help you get around the show much simpler. First, there’s an improved shuttle service. Second, there is an enhanced mobile navigation app. And third, this year, there will be knowledgeable onsite guides to help answer any questions as you walk the show floor.
IFPE 2014 will feature more than 400 exhibitors (it will be the biggest IFPE ever!) and product concentration areas that will make it easy for visitors to locate specific products, services and exhibitors of interest. Also, there will be more than 100 very impressive educational sessions at the IFPE Technical conference—these will focus on the newest technologies, best practices, the latest research and developments, including keynote presentations and college-level courses in hydraulics and pneumatics.
The show expects thousands of industry professionals from all sectors of the fluid power, power transmission and motion control industries.
I can tell you from experience (this IFPE will be my seventh!) that the show can be overwhelming, it’s so large—and I’m not even talking about the co-located CONEXPO and CON-AGG events. Make sure to look through the exhibitor lists and the floor plans before you leave home, to map out a rough game plan of what—and who—you want to see.
It’s getting close! Only a week away. Are you excited?
This year’s show runs from March 4-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visit www.ifpe.com for details.
