Metal Oxide Resistors

By Design World Staff | May 26, 2007

CMO Series commercial grade metal oxide resistors come in both standard and miniature sizes, with power ratings from 0.25 W to 9 W at 70° C, and a maximum operating temperature of 240° C.

The resistors have a flame retardant coating and are specified for industrial and power electronics applications requiring stable performance in rugged, high-temperature environments. IRC's Metal Oxide Resistors Rated Up To 240°C, Pg. 2

Power ratings are from 0.25 W to 9 W in standard size axial leaded packages; and from 0.5 W to 5 W in miniature sizes, with a resistance range from 0.3 ohms to 200 kilohms. Standard tolerances for the devices are to +/-2%, +/-5%, and +/-10%, with TCRs of +/-350ppm/° C. Maximum working voltage ranges from 250 to 750 V.
