Newly Expanded Resistance Range for KOA Speer’s RN73H-Ultra Precision Chip Resistor

By Frank Tobe | November 3, 2016

koaspeer-chip-resistorKOA Speer Electronics introduces an expanded resistance range of 47Ω to 1MΩ for their RN73H series of ultra precise thin film metal chip resistors. The new low end of the resistance range (47Ω) affects the 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 sizes.

With a precision tolerance of ±0.05% ~ ±1.0%, and T.C.R. values of ±5 ~ ±100 ppm/°C, the RN73H features a moisture-resistant protective layer over the resistive film construction and offers enhanced moisture resistance (85°C+2°C, 85%+4% RH, 1000 hrs).

The RN73H thin film chip resistor is designed for applications that require a reliable resistor for humidity and high temperatures to 155°C. These resistors are ideal for high temperature/high humidity applications within the transportation, medical, telecommunications, consumer electronics and industrial markets.

KOA Speer’s RN73H chip resistor series include 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 & 1210 sizes and feature a power rating range of .063W to .25W, resistances up to 1MΩ and maximum working voltages between 50V and 400V. The RN73H series are AEC-Q200 Qualified and available with lead-free terminations to meet EU RoHS requirements. Lead time is 12 weeks.
