Impact protection has come a long way from the days of steel armor. New technologies that seem like science fiction will be showcased during the 7th International Conference of Safety and Protective Fabrics to be held on Tuesday, October 26th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Conference directors have asked Rogers Corporation to present on recent trends, material technologies and testing methods used in extreme impact protection designs.
“From protective sports to military equipment, customers continually demand more advanced, innovative material solutions,” states Dave Sherman, Business Manager for the High Performance Foams Division of Rogers Corporation. “I’m delighted that the IFAI has recognized Rogers as a leader in advanced materials development, and I hope my presentation will help to shed some light on the new materials and testing methods that are available to design firms.”
The 7th International Conference on Safety & Protective Fabrics is developed by the Safety & Technical Products group of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI). The Conference is designed to introduce new technologies, cutting edge research, and cross-market products throughout the industrial safety market.
