Breinigsville, Pa. — SimCraft Corporation will unveil its series of racing simulators at the 2009 International CES‚®, Jan. 8-11, 2009, in Las Vegas. SimCraft’s booth is located at LVCC, South Hall 2, Booth #25311 in the Electronic Gaming section.
SimCraft’s APEX SC830 and APEX SC320 are patent-pending, military-grade simulators that bring the sense of touch to the home market. The APEX SC830 is developed for the training of professional racers (and ultra-competitive gamers) and offers three degrees of freedom (roll 40‚º / pitch 25‚º / yaw 40‚º). The APEX SC320 was designed for the hardcore gamer and offers two degrees of freedom (roll 20‚º / pitch 20‚º). Two models of the APEX SC830 will be displayed at the 2009 CES.
To launch APEX into the consumer market, IndyCar and Indy 500 driver and owner of her self-named racing team Sarah Fisher will be at the SimCraft booth, racing tradeshow attendees in the simulators. Fisher is the fastest female to ever qualify for the Indianapolis 500 and became the first woman in North American motorsports history to win the pole position for a major-league, open-wheel race. Her scheduled appearance is Thurs., Jan. 8, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. at the SimCraft booth.
