(Fairfield, NJ) now offers a modular traveling knife assembly for cut widths up to 5.5m/18’.  It is available in either shear cut or crush cut, and is ideal for wide materials including carbon fiber, film, filter media, foam, foil, gaskets, laminates, medical devices, nonwovens, paper, rubber, and thin gauge metals.

Two actuators are available, a pneumatic system or a digital electric drive package.  The electric version can be supplied with either a step or servo motor drive, with or without the motor driver package.
