AMETEK Rotron has introduced a vaneaxial fan designed for high performance cooling with powerful airflow. The MAXIAX 9.25 can develop the necessary pressure to deliver 707-944 Liters per second (L/s) [1500 to 2000 cubic feet per minute (cfm)] against a system impedance of 0.99-1.5 kilo Pascals (kPa) [4 to 6 inches of water gauge (iwg)]. This makes it well suited for applications including centralized forced air electronics cooling in aircraft, forced air delivery in semiconductor processing equipment, air circulation in environmental control systems and as a heat exchanger cooling fan.
Its lightweight (9.07 kg / 20 lb) and compact size (23.5 cm diameter x 20.3 cm length / 9.25” x 8”) are appropriate for airborne, vehicular, shipboard and portable building applications. Its high rotational speed delivers air-moving capacity comparable to pallet-sized industrial blowers. The MAXIAX 9.25 is designed to meet the reliability requirements of military applications and is easily customizable for precise airflow design.

New MAXIAX 9.25 vaneaxial fan from AMETEK Rotron provides significant airflow in a compact package.
The MAXIAX 9.25 is driven by a high speed, aerospace grade 200VAC, 3 ph, 400Hz motor, developing nominal rotational speed of 7,700 RPM. It can also be paired with a power conversion module to allow for operation from alternate power sources.
