Watts FluidAir dial regulators feature a balanced valve design

By Pneumatics Editor | July 12, 2012

Watts FluidAir (www.wattsfluidair.com) complements its vast array of air preparation products with the release of its latest Dial Regulators, which feature a balanced poppet/valve design, a maximum inlet operating pressure of 300 psig and a maximum temperature rating of 150°F.

A part of the 14 Series FRL Line, the Dial Regulators are available in four body sizes while its port offerings range from ¼” to 2″. For quick and easy adjustment of secondary pressure, the compact regulators are designed with a pressure-calibrated, transparent, non-rising adjustment dial. They also eliminate the need for traditional gauges and feature pressure ranges that can be dialed in less than 270 degrees of the dial rotation. This is specifically advantageous if the secondary pressure has to be changed frequently.

If a gauge is needed for monitoring reasons, the company provides two ¼ NPT gauge ports. However, these are commonly used for additional outlet ports.

In addition, the user-friendly regulators offer a high-visibility LED display, which makes the characters easy to read. With the controls grouped on the same face, the regulators are also lightweight and feature easily accessable software.

Meanwhile, the transparent dial of the regulators can be graphics or color coded for easy reference to required pressure changes. The dial regulators can also be mounted in almost any position, making the dial face always visible. All dial units feature a slight constant air bleed.

The 14 Series FRL line offers complete filter coalesce, lubricator, regular and Piggyback F/R units. Combination units are also available together with multiple bowl, spring and bowl options.
