Atlanta Micro (Alpharetta, GA) has introduced the AM9001, a fully integrated, high dynamic range miniature digital tuner. The receive tuner is designed for high performance and low size, weight and power (SWaP) applications and is easily mounted to a printed circuit board as a surface mount device. Multiple tuners can be configured to work together for coherent operation and N-channel applications. Interfacing to the tuner is accomplished by simply providing an RF input, DC voltages, SPI control and routing the 14-bit LVDS digital output. Features include:
- Covers frequency range of 20 MHz to 6 GHz.
- 80-MHz instantaneous bandwidth.
- Sub-octave preselectors.
- Local oscillators.
- 10-MHz frequency reference.
