Connect One’s iChip CO2144 machine-to-machine (M2M) IP controller supports WLAN and cellular standards in applications including automotive, remote monitoring and medical devices. The 10-mm² 144-ball LFBGA-packaged device offers a suite of Internet protocols and applications as well as a logical interface between itself and the host application and an embedded HTTP/HTTPS web server. The RoHS-complaint controller offers support for encryption algorithms and connectivity with WLAN roaming, multiple SSID and WPA2-Enterprise authentication in dial-up, LAN wired, 802.11b/g WLAN and cellular networks. The component includes USB v.2.0 host and device, parallel bus, external bus, SPI, two-wire and USART interfaces. Security features include a random number generator, SHA-1/256 secure hash accelerator, AES-128/192/256 encryption accelerator, 3DES, SSL3/TLS1, and WEP/WPA2 encryption for WiFi.
