Advanced GigE TXG Multi-I/O Cameras help promote greater flexibility of machine vision systems and control over custom-designed LED illumination. The cameras have four independent I/O ports located adjacent to the trigger and flash connection. The I/O ports have custom pulse width modulated (PWM) signals.
The internal PWM controller can be programmed to set duty cycle and the modulated signal frequency. Each independent port provides a current of 100 mA. The internal sequencer allows the camera to take pictures with different settings for gain and exposure, and to control illumination without a PC, ensuring fast and reliable operation. The cameras are available with resolutions ranging from VGA to 5 megapixels and frame rates up to 90 frames-per-second.
