SCHAUMBURG, IL ‚– From HEIDENHAIN comes an opportunity to view its newest and most impressive products for machine tools at this year‚’s IMTS 2008 Show in Chicago at McCormick Place (September 8-13). Also expected is a stage set for a HEIDENHAIN Accuracy Campaign that promises to give booth visitors important insight into significant motion control issues. More information on this will be available closer to show time.

HEIDENHAIN products and the special promotions are scheduled to be at Booth #D-4419 during the show. Once there, look for HEIDENHAIN‚’s DIADUR‚® symbols as indications that you are in the right place. The DIADUR‚® is a significant metal etching process invented by HEIDENHAIN in 1950 that has come to be known as a representation of high precision measurement around the world.

Also included will be HEIDENHAIN‚’s latest digital readout (DRO) in the form of the versatile ND 500 system coupled with a HEIDENHAIN high quality LS linear scale, making this an extraordinary system offered at a value price. And many new HEIDENHAIN touch probe options will be on display, including The TS 444 battery-free infrared probe, the TS 740 probe (one of the most accurate probes in the world), and the UTI 192 interface box which allows for probe integration to non-TNC controls. With these, more CNCs machines than ever can take advantage of HEIDENHAIN‚’s broad range of probing products.
