CHC Series high-speed digital termination networks come in miniature surface mount BGA packages for applications with reduced printed circuit board space. The networks are planar and have no vias, which eliminates large parasitic inductances and significant overshoot from via inductance.
The networks are characterized to 40 GHz and rise times to 25 ps. VSWR is 1.03 at 10 GHz. The networks suit high-speed digital data transmission applications involving LVDS transmission line termination, memory termination, set-top boxes, high-speed routers and data switches, as well as computers and servers.
They have a resistance range from 10 ohms to 10 kilohms. Absolute tolerances are to ±1%, ±2, and ±5, with absolute TCRs to ±100ppm/° C. Operating temperature range is -40° C to + 85° C.
