Kraft Fluid Systems (Kraft) has announced it is adding Delta-Q Technologies’ (Delta-Q) battery chargers to its line of electric drive products. Its high-frequency battery chargers extend battery life to provide maximum up-time and reduce cost of ownership.

“We are thrilled to partner with Delta-Q, the leading battery charger supplier of choice for many manufacturers,” said Scott Durand, VP sales and marketing for Kraft Fluid Systems. “Delta-Q’s solutions are used on more than three million electric vehicles and industrial machines. We’re glad to be able to provide our customers with a high-quality and reliable charging solution to help them thrive amongst the market’s changing demands.”

Delta-Q offers a wide range of battery chargers featuring a rugged design optimized for mobile machinery. With more than 250 charge profiles for specific models and chemistries of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, the addition of Delta-Q’s solutions to Kraft’s offerings will deliver unmatched performance and customization options for Kraft’s customers.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Delta-Q also has a local presence in the United States, Europe, and Asia to serve customers globally. Kraft will sell and service Delta-Q battery chargers across North America to manufactures of AGV’s, Ground Support Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Amusement Park Vehicles, Utility Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Agriculture Machinery, and Mining Vehicles.

Delta-Q is a technology company deeply engrained in charging solutions and needs of the global electric drive market.  Its experts have a dedicated battery lab to develop and validate battery charging profiles. Its engineering capabilities in power electronics and embedded software design allow original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of vehicles and industrial equipment to provide greater value to their customers. As part of the Zapi Group – a leader in motion control for battery and hybrid-powered vehicles, Delta-Q is dedicated to innovation, researching ways to make power electronics smarter, more reliable, and more efficient.

“Kraft is an excellent partner for the Zapi Group of companies and is already successfully distributing Schabmueller motors, Zapi motor controllers, and Zivan chargers to a variety of industrial applications,” said Lloyd Gomm, VP of business development with Delta-Q.
