Lin Engineering introduced the G4518 Cool Operating Stepper Motor. The G4518 is designed to run up to 30% cooler than conventional motor of similar specifications. Low heat generation makes this motor ideal for applications where heat is a concern.

Cooler operation also increases efficiency, which lowers operating costs.

The G4518 is a NEMA 17 sized motor and is available in three different lengths: 1.34” (34mm), 1.58” (40mm), and 1.89” (48mm). The step angle is 1.8 degrees.

The G4518 motor provides up to 98 oz-in (0.69 N-m) of holding torque. To insure maximum torque at desired speed, winding can be customized. Custom winding service is available at no additional cost directly from Lin Engineering.

To achieve even more torque, the G4518 can be safely over-driven by up to 20%.

The G4518 Cool Operating Stepper Motor is available for immediate purchase directly from Lin Engineering. For more information visit www.LinEngineering.com, or call (408) 919-0200 for inquiries and custom orders.
