“Wireless technology is finding more and more inroads into our daily lives,” said Mark Zack, Vice President, Global Semiconductor product at Digi-Key. “As more and more designers look to implement wireless technologies into their products, MACOM’s robust, reliable product offering and long-standing technology legacy will improve Digi-Key’s ability to continue removing barriers to entry into the wireless space and provide tremendous value for our customers around the world.”

MACOM possess a broad portfolio of over 3000 products, which include industry-leading diodes, GaAs MMICs, silicon and gallium nitride transistors, and components that enable next-generation internet and modern battlefield applications. These products cover frequencies ranging from DC to 110 GHz.

“This agreement aligns perfectly with MACOM’s renewed focus on our core catalog products. Digi-Key is recognized by design engineers worldwide for its exceptional service, and this partnership will allow us to leverage their broad customer reach,” said Jack Kennedy, Vice President, Global Sales at MACOM. “Having Digi-Key as an authorized global distributor offers MACOM the opportunity to address our customers’ needs by rapidly getting product into their hands for critical design cycles, thereby enabling improved time to market.
