Although drones are a trending technology, some can find them a tad annoying buzzing around. Make it Extreme has created a solution to the annoying drone problem in private places with its homemade, anti-drone gun.
Make is Extreme chose to use two bottles of oxygen, of one use only, that are durable up to 150 bar. In one bottle, they put a car’s wheel valve where the air enters the bottles, and the other bottle has an indicative clock of air pressure in it. Then, they attached the two bottles on a valve that controls the opening and closing of the exit of compressed air.
They said their most important factor was how fast the valve opened and released the air, so they connected the valve with a spring that pulls with pressure and speed as soon as the trigger is pulled.
They also used aluminum tubes for the barrels of the ‘gun.’ A mechanism in the center of the gun opens and closes the barrels so the gun can shoot long or short range. The net has four bullets on it that are in each barrel, and when the bullets are released, the net is released with them for a successful drone capture.
