CLEVELAND, OH — The Lubrizol Corporation (NYSE: LZ) is launching a series of masterbatch compounds for its Stat-Rite® Polymers brand. Stat-Rite is part of the Lubrizol conductive polymers business.
Stat-Rite inherently static dissipative masterbatch compounds allow manufacturers the flexibility to incorporate static dissipative properties into their own materials and compounds, utilizing the cost saving benefits of combining application volumes on their base resin purchases. Current Stat-Rite Polymer resins are manufactured as a complete compound and can be more expensive, whereas the masterbatch is produced as a concentrate that can be added to the customer’s base resin.
The Stat-Rite masterbatches are available for the following base resins:
* HIPS
* ABS
* Acrylic
* Polyethylene
* Polypropylene
* PVC
“We are excited to launch the option of the Stat-Rite Polymer masterbatches at the ESD Symposium. These new masterbatches give our customers a cost-effective answer to customize their application with a permanent ESD material solution,” said Kurt Edwards, sales and marketing manager, Americas, Lubrizol Conductive Polymers.
