Minnesota Rubber and Plastics has published an eight-page brochure detailing their capabilities for molding motor vehicle elastomer and thermoplastic components and assemblies.
It contains summary pages detailing Minnesota Rubber and Plastics’ 60 years industry experience and their innovative solutions approach. These include: product design, process development, manufacturing, sourcing, quality systems, material sciences expertise, and program management.
Nine charts list dozens of vehicular components and assemblies designed, molded and assembled by Minnesota Rubber and Plastics that improve reliability and warranty performance.
The brochure also contains photo examples of both elastomer and thermoplastic components and assemblies used in typical motor vehicle applications. Described is the superior performance of these custom molded parts in a wide range of operating environments.
Of special interest are two additional charts in the brochure. One shows the performance range of how both amorphous and semi-crystalline polymers vary in relationship to their cost. The second chart provides helpful selection criteria for key high temperature resistant thermoplastics.
