Mounting keyless pulleys, gears or sprockets with a single sleeve

Coupling Tips

tsa2Asymmetric Fasteners Inc. has released a new product for mounting components onto a keyless shaft. A threaded bore in the component (pulley, gear, or sprocket) bolted with the Torksleeve A2 generates a uniform locking pressure on the shaft by turning a nut. It offers repeatable, precise positioning along with high torque transfer capability. Any component with a standard 60 deg. bore thread can be assembled with Torksleeve A2.

Torksleeve A2’s standard lone OD offers a variety of different bore sizes to accommodate different shaft diameters. The simple stainless steel single-sleeve design (PATENT PENDING) eliminates the cost of a keyway and key, and offers simple component bore machining. The sleeve can be threaded into the component from either side. This keyless fastener meets today’s challenging components mounting application demands.

Available for shaft diameters .250-.625-in. and 6– 15mm.
