SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – NKK Switches launches its Vastek division, which is focused on in-house printing and assembly solutions for microelectronics, electromechanical and mechanical solutions. In addition, the division which was formed last year received ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Vastek began as an offshoot of NKK‚’s exclusive in-house printing and assembly offerings, a solution the company has provided to customers since 1987. Vastek offers the customized services of a full contract manufacturing company providing a wide variety of printing and assembly solutions to its varied customers within and outside of NKK, including laser etching, pad printing, screen printing, mechanical assembly, electronic assembly and electromechanical assembly, including cables and wire harnesses.
With its focus on quality, Vastek applied for and received ISO 9001:2000 certification this year. This distinction joins a myriad of other certifications and registrations that Vastek holds, including IPC 610D, IPC 620A, IPC Specialist, J-STD-001, UL Recognized for wire harnesses and ESD Trained.
Vastek services a diverse group of industry segments including electronics, computers, broadcast communications, medical, aerospace and transportation.
