Pfannenberg has introduced Safety Integrity Level (SIL) audible and visual signaling devices that are specifically designed to conform to SIL 1 and SIL 2 safety requirements.
Signaling equipment is often required when designing Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for hazardous machinery and industrial processes, however, standard devices do not offer the conformity needed to achieve the target Safety Integrity Level (SIL).
