THK’s latest guide for linear motion users — Online resource center

Linear-motion manufacturer THK America Inc. has developed an online Resource Center packed with the latest industry insight and information.

Built into the navigation of thk.com, searchable content consists of industry relevant white papers, briefs, case studies, articles, infographics, videos, e-books and web content. Subjects within the site cover a range of topics, including The Value of a Domestic Supply Chain, Design with Robots in Mind: What it Means for Engineers, and THK: Shaping the Future of Service Robotics.

Visitors can narrow their information search based on their role, including purchasing manager, procurement manager, mechanical engineer, design engineer, R&D engineer and production/operations.

THK’s Technical Calculator is another valuable component of the Resource Center. This tool enables visitors to quickly estimate the service life of THK products, including Linear Motion Guides, Ball Screws, and Linear Motion Guide Actuators. Visitors choose between two calculation methods: selecting from available LM guides by entering usage conditions or calculating the service life of a selected LM guide. To arrive at a recommended product solution, visitors choose from categories that include applications, usage attitude (i.e. horizontal, wall mounting), block layouts (number of rails and blocks), and the placement of the rail, block and drive part.

The Resource Center also conveniently features a link for visitors to request a quote.
