The AFS60 and AFM60 absolute, dual-port Ethernet encoders connect with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET RT and EtherCAT. The single turn AFS60 and the multi-turn AFM60 have an embedded switch that reduces external switching components and re-routes data when cable breaks in the network are detected. The encoders have diagnostic functions, including temperature and acceleration monitoring, and a durable metal code disc that is resistant to shock and high temperatures. These absolute encoders also include a customizable resolution.
With an IP67/65 protection rating, the encoders can be used in applications that require precise and reliable position accuracy with EtherNet/IP network connectivity. Face mount, servo flange and blind hollow housings are available.
