Under the product name X400 CE, the Jumbo 3D printer X400 is now available. With 56 liters of printing volume, it meets the requirements of professional users.
German RepRap was one of the first German companies to release a 3D printer based on the RepRap technology. The X400 models combine the advantages of the OpenSource technology with an efficiency and quality “Made in Germany,” for professional users.
The X400 CE 3D printer was manufactured, adjusted and tested in compliance with the DIN-ISO 9001 guidelines for quality management systems. Parts can be printed with a layer thickness up to 0.1 mm. The build size is about 400 x 400 x 350 mm (15.7 x 15.7 x 13.8 in.), with a volume up to 56 l. Printed objects may be sanded, painted or otherwise finished.
The X400 CE has low backlash drives and threaded rods for high printing precision and a long service life. All electronic components are compatible to the OpenSource RepRap software.
The integrated Direct-Drive-Extruder (1.75 or 3 mm), enables the addition of a second extruder and therefore, the printing of separate support material or different materials or colors.
The outer dimensions of the X400 CE are 66 x 66 x 77 cm (D/W/H) with a weight of about 40 kg and it is mounted on a stable aluminum frame. The whole printing space is protected by a case. Moreover, if desired, the printer may be equipped with a deformation free ceramics heated bed. Further, the X400 is available as a construction kit with an optional acrylic case.
