Aurora Bearing Company Expands into New Facility

(Aurora, IL) — The Aurora Bearing Company announces their move and expansion to their new Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing facility in Montgomery, IL.  The 225,000 sq. ft. facility is located just 1/2 mile from the former Headquarters in Chicago’s western suburbs.  The expansion will allow for continued growth for the 37 year old firm, while consolidating three manufacturing sites and management into one streamlined facility.

“This expansion will allow us to employ a leaner more efficient business model featuring cellular manufacturing techniques with all facets of the business under one roof,” said Scott Schroeder, National Sales Manager.  “It is going to give us greater control of our production from materials through manufacturing and inspection while expediting the entire process.”

Aurora Bearing Company manufactures Rod Ends, Spherical Bearings and Teflon lined Journal Bearings for industrial, automotive, aerospace and military applications.  Their complete line of standard products ranges in bore size from 1/8 inch to 2 inches.  Application Engineering, special products and custom orders are available upon request.  Aurora Bearing Company is qualified to PTFE liner system AS81820, Bearing Specifications AS14101 through AS14104, Rod End Specification AS81935 and Journal Bearing Specification AS81934.
