These high performance, non-contact sensors utilize infrared telemetry to measure rotational torque in dynamometer systems. This particular sensor incorporates a custom transmission system that allows for up to 4 temperature inputs in addition to the rotating torque measurement. Ideal for measuring multiple heat sources creating from friction sources such as bearing and braking systems.
The 01251 IR torque sensor family can be configured in multiple attachment configurations and can also be designed to measure axial thrust as well. These sensors feature high frequency response, high sample rate, and high rotational speed as standard features. Available in single, dual, and custom flange designs, and with capacities ranging from 1000in-lbs to 250,000in-lbs (113 to 28000Nm). Optional angular measurement is also available.
