GORE High Flex Flat Cable, GORE Trackless Cable, and GORE High Flex Round Cable are high flex, clean (low particulation and outgassing) cable solutions ideal for semiconductor manufacturing steps such as lithography, ion implantation, and inspection.
The cables suit extreme conditions found in clean room environments and can be used in ISO14644-1 Class 3 (FS209E Class 1) environments. Gore high flex cables can be made up to 300 mm wide so that multiple cables can be replaced with a single, self-supporting cable for stroke lengths of 500 mm or less. They use an ePTFE composite jacket, which has a low coefficient of friction and excellent tear resistance. GORE High Flex Flat Cable provides excellent cable management because it does not require cable dividers within cable track. This reduces particulation and increases cable life.
