MIDDLETOWN, PA ‚– The new MINI Analog Shunt Transducer from Phoenix Contact is ideal for converting and isolating mV signals from shunt resistors. The new transducer features three-way 1.5 kV isolation, low power consumption and high-quality signal transmission.
Current shunt resistors are precision resistors used in the measurement of DC electrical currents by creating a voltage drop across the resistor. The MINI Analog Shunt Transducer then filters, isolates and converts this mV signal to a standard analog current or voltage signal. The transducer can be configured to accept -50mV to 3V drops. The signal output is also configurable to commonly used analog signals.
The MINI Analog family has a 6.2mm thin housing and T-Bus power bus capabilities that save space and drastically reduce installation time. The hot-swappable signal conditioning slices simply clip onto the powering T-Bus connector without removing bus bars or bridging.
