Misumi Announces New Website Enhancements

Schaumburg, IL– Misumi USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Misumi Corporation, a part of Misumi Group, Inc. (TYO:9962), announces the development of several website enhancements that are now available. These new Misumi enhancements are outlined below.

New Part Number Checker
One of the benefits of ordering from Misumi is that you do not need drawings and that stock and well as configured components can be ordered by a part number. How to manually configure a component to generate a part number is defined in the catalog, but as the configured part becomes highly customized, part numbers can sometimes become long and complex. Misumi has been providing ways to help automatically generate the correct part numbers through the CAD configurator which allows you to spec the product using menus and is ideal if you are just starting the design process.

The New Part Number Checker is an alternative for those who create the part number manually, but want to do a quick check afterwards to make sure none of the parameters are missing. Until now, customers were required to login and configure or request a quote through our Web Ordering System in order to verify the part number. The Part Number Checker is a simple way to verify the validity of a part number without having to log into the configurator. Up to five part numbers can be verified at once. The system supports all metric part numbers including part numbers from the press and mold catalogs, in addition to the automation components catalog.
