OKW’s smart modern designer COM-KNOBS are now available in more color permutations than ever.
This innovative and aesthetically pleasing collet knob range fits rotary potentiometers with shaft ends corresponding to DIN 41591. Applications include measurement and control, medical and wellness, laboratory equipment, HVAC, communications, and building equipment.
COM-KNOBS can be specified with or without arrow marking elements and with or without a finger recess for fine control and adjustment. They can be assembled quickly and easily from the front with tight fitting on the axis. Elements and covers simply clip into place.
The knobs are available in six sizes from ø 16 mm to ø 50 mm and in two standard colours (volcano gray and nero black) with a wide choice of pastel shades for the covers and elements: coral red, beach yellow, lagoon green, sky blue, mineral gray, and nero black. OKW also offers matt chrome covers for sizes ø 23 mm, ø 31 mm and ø 40 mm.
This wide choice of knob sizes, covers, and marking elements creates a large number of standard permutations. The color scheme also matches OKW’s award-winning TOP-KNOBS range – creating a uniform appearance when the two ranges are used together.
Virtually all COM-KNOBS components are moulded from polyamide PA6. The matt chrome cover is ABS (UL 94 HB). Prices start at $2.48.
Accessories include round nuts (M7 x 0.75, M10 x 0.75, 3/8” -32G), a round nut spanner, nut covers (for COM-KNOB 16), dials, stators, disks, and a locking device.
Customizing services include bespoke colors, CNC machining, lacquering, printing, and special materials.
