The ML7 Series miniature photoelectric sensors come in retro-reflective mode for detecting clear objects such as PET plastic bottles, clear shrink-wrap, glass, and clear Mylar film. The sensors can detect clear objects to a maximum distance of 3.5 meters, and opaque objects to a maximum distance of 5.7 meters. They suit packaging, material handling, and converting/printing applications.
The retro-reflective sensors measure a compact, 31 x 23 x 11 mm. Programming is quick and easy via a single sensitivity adjustment that lets one of three different contrast levels to be taught.
Consequently, reliable, repeatable detection of low- or high-contrast transparent media, including colored glass bottles, is possible. In addition, they use 4-in-1 output technology, which allows for the detection of the connected load and sinks or sources as needed.
